He even goes as far as asking Saitama to become his disciple, which he flat out refuses. He comes back to ask Suiryu to keep quiet about him lying to enter the competition, and Suiryu, in awe, proclaims that he wants to be a hero himself. Now if Saitama is not being a poser right now, I don’t know what he is doing. Suiryu performs a dramatic monologue while heavy thuds play in the background… A few seconds after, Goketsu’s head flies in and lands right next to him. Saitama just largely ignores him and walks off. Saitama -of course- asks for Goketsu’s whereabouts, always looking for a good fight to pick, in hopes of a good challenge. He describes how Goketsu, the guy that turned Bakuzan into a monster, is probably out there, and that he is ridiculously strong.
Suiryu goes on to explain that the monsters are having a mini revolution outside and that Saitama would be better off staying put. Or, more specifically, because he didn’t have anything better to do. He tries to understand Saitama’s deal (don’t we all) and Saitama explains that he was motivated to join the martial arts tournament to experience martial arts, because a hero hunter is around, and he happens to be a martial artist. We just witness a half-bodied monster with blue hues where his flesh used to be, instead of… you know, blood. Naturally, we don’t get to see that in action.
Bakuzan makes one last big effort to smash Saitama, but Saitama eliminates him immediately. As he has a long, painful to talk about how amazing his monster form is, Saitama notices all the second-rate fighters that got their ass handed to them by Bakuzan, and now lie unconscious on the floor. Plotīakuzan, in his monster form, is once more forced to face Saitama, now slightly more cocky than before, yet as terrified. His shining bald head is here to save the day.
Suiryu had his ass handed to him, and now Saitama comes to the rescue.
